Scott Indrisek is the senior editor of Modern Painters. He was formerly the senior editor of Anthem, a quarterly magazine. His writing has previously appeared in The Believer, Village Voice, BlackBook, ARTNews, Whitewall, Time Out New York, Radar, Nerve.com, Clear, Swindle, SOMA, Dazed & Confused, New York Press, New York Observer and various other publications. His fiction has appeared in Failbetter, Pindeldyboz, paxAmericana, and New York Tyrant.
In 2006 he appeared in a short film directed by Steven Soderbergh that was included on Volume 2 of the DVD magazine Wholphin.
He is currently working on a novel, entitled Heaven (This Must Be The Place).
